A multi-vehicle traffic collision involving overturned vehicles disrupted traffic Friday morning on the southbound 14 freeway near Newhall.
At approximately 11:07 a.m., two vehicles overturned on the freeway, prompting an emergency response from Los Angeles County Fire Department crews. Passengers were extricated from the vehicles, according to Edith Lai, public information associate for L.A. County Fire. No patients were transported from the scene.
As of 11:11 a.m., the California Highway Patrol shut down Sierra Highway at Dockweiler to allow crews to clear debris and clean up the wreckage. An estimated time for reopening had not been announced…
