A tree fell onto a parked car in the city of West Hollywood on Saturday evening, damaging the vehicle.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on North Harper Avenue between Fountain Avenue and Norton Avenue. West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, and the area was temporarily closed to moving traffic as city workers worked to clear debris.
A nearby resident said he returned home to find caution tape blocking access to his street. He was eventually allowed through and saw the fallen tree resting on his neighbor’s SUV. He said no one was injured.
The incident follows a similar event late last month, when a tree crushed a parked car after heavy overnight rain. That incident occurred around 4 a.m. on West Knoll Drive near Melrose Avenue, and the vehicle was damaged beyond repair…
