A man accused of vandalizing the interior and exterior of Los Angeles City Hall was taken into custody after he left the building, authorities said Sunday.
The suspect, identified by the LAPD as Jose Gonzalez Chavez, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Thursday as he left the building at 200 N. Spring St. by officers from the Security Services Division, according to a Los Angeles Police Department statement.
