A Los Angeles woman was arrested in Burbank after she tried to sell high-value sports trading cards worth about $10,000, police told NBC4 Investigates Tuesday.
The Burbank Police Department said card shop employees at a business on Hollywood Way near Magnolia Boulevard alerted officers that the woman may be trying to sell possibly stolen cards.
Investigators soon learned some of the cards were reported missing as they had been shipped through the U.S. Postal Service. Police later confirmed with the original owner that the cards were indeed stolen…
