Dog wounded when another dog’s owner opens fire at Hollywood El Pollo Loco

A dog was shot in the neck by the owner of another dog after an apparent attack Saturday inside a Hollywood El Pollo Loco, the LAPD told NBC4 Investigates.

Officers responded at about 2 p.m. to the restaurant near Vine Street and Fountain Avenue. A customer was paying at the counter when her dog got away and attacked a dog who had just entered the business with its owner, who pulled out a gun, police said.

The man opened fire, striking the dog in the neck, the LAPD said. The dog suffered a graze wound that was not considered life threatening…
