Dog scares off would-be intruder armed with gun, knife at Southern California home

A brave dog scared off a would-be intruder who had a gun and a knife and was trying to break in to a Los Angeles home.

Video sent in by a KTLA viewer who requested to be identified simply as a Tujunga resident shows a man approaching the front entrance of her home – near Memory Drive and Tujunga Canyon Boulevard – with a gun in his right hand and a knife in his left around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.

As he approaches the door, he holds the weapons up to his face and looks to make entry when loud barks can be heard from Ace, the family pitbull…
