Tito’s Tacos introduces only its third new menu item in nearly 70 years

The Culver City landmark debuts a long-requested Mexican favorite.

Tito’s Tacos is expanding its famously unchanged menu with the introduction of a cheese quesadilla, marking only the third new item added since the Culver City restaurant opened in 1959.

The quesadilla will debut Saturday, Jan. 31, at the family-owned Los Angeles landmark, which has remained under the same ownership for more than six decades. Known for its tightly curated menu, Tito’s Tacos previously added just two new items over that span: a veggie tamale and, most recently, a chicken burrito in 2024…
