A memorial is growing in Playa del Rey in honor of a pregnant mother who died after she was struck and killed by a driver over the weekend.
The woman and her family were on a bicycle ride Saturday in Playa del Rey when a driver struck her and one of her two children. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash was reported just after 6 p.m. near the intersection of Pershing Drive and Manchester Avenue.
Police said the pregnant woman, who was identified by family as 36-year-old Regan Cole, died. Her unborn baby was delivered, but later died, as well…
