Median rent falls to $2,167
Los Angeles rent prices dropped to their lowest point in four years.
The median rent in the LA metro area fell to $2,167 in December 2025, according to a Los Angeles Times analysis of Apartment List data. This marks the lowest price since January 2022.
The figures cover new leases for one- and two-bedroom apartments, and the drop offers some relief for renters in one of the nation’s most expensive housing markets.
