LOS ANGELES (KCAL/KCBS) – A 12-year-old girl and her grandfather were trying to leave their Los Angeles home when they were suddenly attacked and stabbed. Police say the suspect is a man who lives next door and has mental health issues.
Overwhelmed and sobbing, Gayane Ananyan scrubbed blood from the fence outside her home in Los Angeles’ Sunland neighborhood. She said through a translator that her 12-year-old granddaughter and her husband were attacked Friday morning while they were getting ready to leave for school.
