The woman killed Wednesday when her vehicle crashed into the back of a semi truck trailer and became wedged underneath it has been identified.
Claudia Funk, 35, has been identified as the person killed in a vehicle crash on the 14 Freeway Wednesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
At about 12 p.m. Wednesday, a Toyota Corolla driven by Funk struck the back of a parked semi truck trailer on the right shoulder of the northbound 14 Freeway between the 5/14 split and Newhall Avenue.
