Los Angeles County health inspectors have shut down the Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Marina del Rey due to a “vermin infestation,” meaning rats or bugs were found inside the restaurant.
The upscale eatery was ordered closed on Feb. 17 after inspectors noted two major violations, according to the county department of public health. One involved the presence of vermin. The other related to the cleanliness of food preparation surfaces.
