An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 struck off the Los Angeles County coastline Sunday evening.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the temblor struck almost 14 miles south southwest of Rancho Palos Verdes and approximately 16 miles southwest of San Pedro at 940 p.m. at a depth of more than 6 and a half miles.
