The death of an incarcerated man at California State Prison, Sacramento is being investigated as a homicide, with both the victim and his cellmate originally received into state custody from Los Angeles County, corrections officials said.
Staff members discovered incarcerated person John Cisneros, 49, unresponsive inside his cell at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 23, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
