That’s Joel Gott, co-founder of Gott’s Roadside, talking about his iconic Napa Valley burger, sandwich and salad roadside stand — which now has eight locations in Northern California and has served more than 12 million burgers — opening a 3,500-square-foot indoor-outdoor outpost at the equally iconic Original Farmers Market in Los Angeles. Founded in 1999 in St. Helena as Taylor’s Automatic Refresher and renamed Gott’s Roadside in 2010, the company has never before expanded farther south than Palo Alto, until now.
