Lifeguards from Los Angeles County Lifeguards Area 10 and Baywatch Redondo responded to a report of a person over a cliffside near Redondo Beach. Teams from LA County Fire Air Operations and LA County Fire Department assisted in the search.
Lifeguards hiked down the trailhead and swam in from the rescue boat to locate the person. After hearing a cry for help, they found the victim in thick brush on the cliffside.
