Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a man Saturday evening in an unincorporated area of East Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 7:45 p.m. in the 3900 block of Cesar Chavez Avenue.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the location. Officials have not yet released the victim’s identity, pending notification of next of kin…
