Los Angeles, California – Drivers along Interstate 5 and Highway 14 could face dangerous crosswinds by late Wednesday evening as 65 mph gusts slam mountain passes and coastal ridges overnight.
According to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard, a High Wind Warning takes effect at 4 p.m. Wednesday for the Interstate 5 Corridor, Santa Barbara County Interior Mountains, and Ventura County mountains, lasting until 7 a.m. Thursday. Gusts in these areas could reach 65 mph, especially near Tejon Pass, Gorman and Pyramid Lake.
