Bank juggers are slashing tires during robberies to trap victims, police say

Police in a Southern California community are advising residents of a rise in bank jugging and other activity associated with it.

The Bell Police Department issued a social media statement on Friday that outlined bank jugging suspects as people who “watch individuals withdraw cash from a bank or ATM, then follow them to another location to steal the money.”

“In recently reported incidents, suspects have been working in groups, deflating victims’ tires so they are forced to pull over,” Bell PD said. “Once the victim stops, the suspects take money left inside the vehicle.”…
