A routine traffic stop in Long Beach early Saturday turned into a crime scene when officers discovered a man in the vehicle suffering from stab wounds, according to police. The stop happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of 29th Street and Lakeview Drive. The victim was taken to a hospital, where his injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
