While the case remains under investigation, officials with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office have identified a 33-year-old man found dead in the driveway of an upscale Pacific Palisades condo complex this week.
The March 17 incident, which occurred just after 2 p.m., was initially reported as an apparent fatal hit-and-run. As the investigation unfolded, detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department told KTLA that was not the case and that they did not believe the death was suspicious.
“It was a young guy in running shorts,” neighbor Nolan Anderson told KTLA’s Sandra Mitchell. “I heard that people were trying to do CPR.”
