Street takeover crowd climbs on, tags Metro bus in Los Angeles

A crowd gathered to watch a street takeover in Los Angeles ended up tagging and climbing on top of a Metro bus that had stopped at a blocked intersection over the weekend.

Los Angeles police responded to reports of a street takeover at Western Avenue and Century Boulevard in South Los Angeles just after midnight Sunday morning, LAPD Officer Eisenman confirmed to KTLA on Monday.

Video from the scene showed dozens of people climbing onto the roof of a Metro bus as the takeover unfolded in the intersection. Others were seen tagging the bus while the driver remained inside, unable to move as the chaos continued around the vehicle…
