9 Taken Into Custody After Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies Seize $7 Million In Stolen Cargo

Nine suspects were taken into custody after Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives seized about $7 million in stolen cargo and approximately $1 million in cash, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

During a multi-agency investigation into organized crime and cargo theft, investigators served 13 search warrants in Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties from December to February, according to a social media post.

According to authorities, the recovered cargo contained televisions, kitchen appliances, printers, soundbars, Ring cameras, air conditioning units, tools, pool equipment, golf carts, ATVs, plush toys, apparel, shoes, energy drinks, booze, and cosmetics…
