Rockfall at Switzer Falls Triggers Chaos, Injured Hiker Airlifted to Safety

A weekend hike near Switzer Falls in the Angeles National Forest turned dangerous Saturday morning when falling rocks struck hikers, leaving at least one person injured and in need of an air rescue. Los Angeles County Fire crews navigated steep, rugged terrain to reach the scene, and a helicopter hoisted a patient out of the canyon.
