An early-morning crash involving five vehicles on the 10 Freeway in Los Angeles left one person dead, authorities say.
According to a CHP spokesperson, the collision happened just before 5 a.m. Sunday on the eastbound span of the freeway at Crenshaw Boulevard.
The spokesperson was not able to verify much more information but did confirm that one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another two people were transported to a hospital in unknown conditions.
All eastbound lanes except for the #5 lane were closed in the immediate aftermath of the crash, which left debris strewn across the roadway. Video from the scene taken by KTLA shows a mangled pickup truck on the far left of the freeway while two other damaged cars sat not far away…
