The Maggie Hathaway golf course reopened on March 28; the newly refurbished course was able to reopen due to a collaboration by the Maggie Junior Golf and Community Foundation, Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation, and American Golf.
“This took courage, a little bit of crazy, true collaboration, some discovery for me in recognizing what the county had not done to this course,” said LA County Supervisor Holly Mitchell. “I think Maggie (Hathaway) would be even more proud at how beautiful her emerald looks today.”
The renovations include a new, multi-million dollar community and learning center that will open later this year.
