A rapid high-speed pursuit tore through the streets of South Los Angeles on Wednesday evening, leaving a trail of chaos before concluding in a foot chase in a Watts neighborhood.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department started the pursuit after identifying a vehicle connected to a group of carjacking suspects. Rather than pulling over, the driver hit the gas, initiating a reckless, 30-minute race through densely populated areas.
