Video shows police detaining teens who allegedly broke into famous L.A. skyscraper

A group of mostly teenagers was detained by police for allegedly breaking into the U.S. Bank Tower in downtown Los Angeles overnight.

Information from law enforcement was scarce at first, but it was confirmed that the incident was reported around 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the iconic high-rise located on 5th Street.

Preliminary reports from a witness indicated that around 40 teens were able to get inside it is believed they may have used a crowbar to pry off a security plate attached to a door before accessing the roof of the building.

Those details were not immediately verified by law enforcement.
