A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the Pico Union neighborhood and the Los Angeles Police Department Monday is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 12:46 a.m. Monday to the 1300 block of West Washington Boulevard and Magnolia Place regarding the crash. When they arrived at the scene, the officers learned the driver struck several vehicles before crashing into a light pole, LAPD Officer Rosario Cervantes told City News Service.
A woman who was in the back seat of the sedan suffered severe injuries in the crash. Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department took the victim to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Cervantes said…
