New Pacific Surfliner trip to expand service from LA

LOS ANGELES — A new daily Pacific Surfliner roundtrip connecting Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo will begin service next month, expanding rail options for commuters, it was announced Monday.

The additional trip, launching May 4, will increase service levels from Los Angeles, including six daily trains to Goleta and three to San Luis Obispo, according to the LOSSAN Rail Corridor Agency.
