A man was beaten to death with an iron rod early Tuesday morning in a fight near the Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles.
The fight between two people was reported just after midnight near Venice Boulevard and Convention Center Drive. Officers said the two possibly homeless individuals were known to each other.
