When you mix late-night freeway driving, alleged triple-digit speeds, and a Chevrolet Corvette, the outcome is rarely pretty. But early Wednesday morning in Los Angeles County, a terrifying wreck ended with what can only be described as a miracle.
A driver and passenger somehow walked away virtually unscathed after their Corvette launched off the 60 Freeway, barrel-rolled, and slammed directly into a local Maserati dealership.
Midnight Flight Over the 60 Freeway
It took place around 1:45 a.m. on April 15 near the City of Industry.
According to video footage that was published after the awful crash, the Chevy sports car can be seen erratically slicing across several lanes of the 60 Freeway.
