LOS ANGELES – A longtime Los Angeles Unified (LAUSD) special education aide says she was tackled while trying to intervene in a student dispute, later diagnosed with post-traumatic stress, and then fired while still on medical leave.
Now, the lawsuit over what happened next is headed toward a tentative resolution.
