Pedestrian pronounced dead at scene of Los Angeles crash

Police are investigating a possible hit-and-run crash that left a man dead in Los Angeles early Monday morning.

Officers were called to an auto versus pedestrian collision near South Figueroa Street and West 75th Street in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood just before 3:15 a.m., a Los Angeles Police Department officer confirmed to KTLA.

The unidentified victim was found down in the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department responders.
