Man accused in West L.A. hit-and-run that killed toddler, uncle had prior DUIs, records show

A man accused of being under the influence during a hit-and-run crash in Playa del Rey earlier this month that killed a toddler and his uncle was already wanted on two additional DUI arrest warrants, court records appear to show.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the deadly multi-vehicle May 4 crash was reported at 4:34 a.m. near 6800 Vista Del Mar, close to the intersection with Culver Boulevard in Playa del Rey.
