CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WAVE) – A local business owner is helping meet community needs after noticing the amount of people struggling, and deciding something more had to be done.
A donation jar placed at Spiceland Indian Grocery on Monday had collected hundreds of dollars by Thursday, and owner Inder Kumar had already put some of it to use.
“There was three people, they really need help with their bills. So we paid their — the same cash we use for their bills. Paid electric bill, water bill,” Kumar said…
