Troubleshooters: Three inmates mistakenly released from LMDC custody in May

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Not once, not twice, but three times this month, inmates in Louisville Metro Corrections’ (LMDC) custody have been released by mistake.

WAVE Troubleshooters learned about the issue when one of the inmates did not show up for his trial, which was set to start on Tuesday.

Jaymes Coleman, 31, is accused of a 2024 robbery at a South Louisville vape shop, where he allegedly walked in with a mallet, assaulted an employee, busted up display cases, and made away with thousands of dollars in merchandise…
