Kentucky attorney general asks federal government to streamline death penalty in Vincent Stopher case

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) – Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman is asking the federal government to streamline the death penalty for a man convicted of killing a Jefferson County sheriff’s deputy.

Coleman said Vincent Stopher’s case was submitted for a federal ruling in January 2025.
