LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – On Sunday, June 28, police responded to the 4500 block of Bardstown Road around 5 a.m. in response to a report of a man who had been hit by a car.
According to police, the man, later identified as 29-year-old Kevin Mutabazi, had been hit by a car that drove away. Then, a second vehicle hit the man while he was on the ground. The driver of the second vehicle stopped and called 911. Police said Mutabazi was not in a crosswalk when he attempted to cross the road.
Mutabazi was pronounced dead at the scene…
