LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Louisville man is in custody after an hours-long SWAT standoff Thursday in the Shawnee neighborhood.
Police said 57-year-old Christopher Rasheed is charged with first-degree assault (domestic violence) and first-degree unlawful imprisonment. An arrest citation states officers were called to a home in the 4500 block of West Market Street around 10:15 a.m., where Rasheed is accused of assaulting a woman with a sharp-edged instrument, causing serious injuries.
