LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Around 7:56 a.m. Friday morning, a report of a collision between a train and a vehicle was called in to emergency services. The crash happened at Six Mile Ln. near Westwood Farms Drive.
According to LMPD, the train was stopped on the tracks for an unknown reason. Traffic in the area was also stopped. A van struck a vehicle that was stopped because of the train and pushed it into the side of a train car.
MetroSafe said that one injury was reported. Police describe the injury as minor. The victim was transported to UofL Hospital by EMS. The other driver was uninjured…
