LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The Louisville man who was found guilty of a 2023 murder in the Okolona neighborhood received his sentence on Friday.
Rashawn Betts has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for at least 25 years after being found guilty of stabbing 44-year-old Amy Skelton to death and hitting her with a gun at an apartment in the Okolona neighborhood. The two were previously in a relationship.
