Shepherdsville man sentenced to federal prison for multimillion-dollar investment fraud scheme

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Bullitt County man is going back to prison for his role in a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme.

Stacy Allen Taylor was sentenced to nine years in federal prison for wire fraud and money laundering, among other charges.

Prosecutors said the 59-year-old Shepherdsville man ran an international investment scam with others, convincing more than 40 people to put money into a “private trading platform” that promised big returns…
