INEZ, Ky. (FOX 56) — Three federal inmates housed in Kentucky are facing new charges in connection with an alleged assault the FBI said is tied to the Mexican Mafia.
Edward Rodriguez, Gilbert Saldana and Alfred Farbrow were indicted Aug. 27 on charges of assault resulting in serious bodily injury, according to the FBI’s Louisville field office.

Federal investigators said the charges stem from the assault of another inmate at the United States Penitentiary Big Sandy in Martin County.
