LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKRC) — A Kentucky man is accused of hiding a camera and secretly recording multiple people, including a 14-year-old girl, in a shared home bathroom, reports WAVE/WDRB.
Louisville police arrested 38-year-old Chad Spurlock Friday following an investigation that began in July after one of the victims reportedly found the camera actively recording inside the bathroom. Spurlock then texted the victim’s mother, whom he had been romantically involved with, to ask if they had found the camera he placed in the bathroom, according to court records. He also allegedly used a burner phone to text the minor victim to apologize.
While reviewing the camera’s memory card, investigators say they discovered 15 videos of residents changing, showering and using the toilet, unaware of the camera. Eight of those videos were of the 14-year-old. The camera’s Wi-Fi capability also meant the footage could have been shared to a mobile device…
