LOUISVILLE, Ky. — New security measures are in place at WorldFest after Louisville Metro Police said a fight broke out Saturday night, prompting concerns from vendors, families and a Metro Council member about safety at the festival.
Metal detectors, updated policies and increased security have been added at the event. Police said the fight happened around 9:30 p.m. By the time officers arrived, the fight had broken up and everyone involved had dispersed.
