LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Seven Counties Services has opened new adult and youth crisis centers in Louisville, creating a walk-in destination for people experiencing mental health or substance use crises and providing an alternative to hospital emergency departments and jails.
The centers opened Sept. 8 at 914 E. Broadway, with separate areas for adults and young people. The Adult Crisis Center initially will operate from 3 to 11 p.m. daily, while the Youth Crisis Center will operate from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week. Seven Counties plans to eventually expand both to 24-hour operations.
