LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Zoo and Mayor Craig Greenberg introduced Frankie, Masha and Mira on Wednesday, the zoo’s first Amur tiger cubs in 22 years.
The trio of cubs were born on May 27 to 4-year-old Viktoria and 8-year-old Timmy, with the zoo announcing in late June that all three cubs are female.
“The cubs continue to grow stronger and more adventurous each day under the watchful care of their mother and the Zoo’s animal care team,” the zoo wrote.
While the trio is still bonding with their mother, the community can watch them through the zoo’s live Cub Cam. According to the zoo, the cubs are set to have their final hands-on examination in September before they will begin to explore their outdoor habitat…
