LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville’s Give for Good campaign is raising support for nonprofits across the city, including Feed Louisville, which is using donations to produce meals and expand access to fresh food.
Feed Louisville raised $52,000 in last year’s campaign and hopes to raise more this year, according to Rhona Kamar, the organization’s founder and executive director.
“It costs us roughly five dollars a meal to produce a meal here,” Kamar said. “So, every five dollars that we raise today helps to go toward the 150,000, 160,000 meals that we will produce this year.”…
