New Riff founder among latest appointments to Kentucky boards

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Gov. Andy Beshear has announced a new round of appointments and reappointments to Kentucky boards, commissions and other government positions, including appointments involving bourbon, tourism, health care, education and local government.

Among the appointments, Beshear named William Craig Miller of Augusta as Bracken County judge/executive. Miller, a former Bracken County magistrate and president of Miller Lumber Co., replaces Tina Teegarden, who resigned.

Andrew Carter of Louisville, general manager of 21C Louisville, was appointed to the Louisville/Jefferson County Tourism and Convention Commission. Carter replaces David Greene, whose term expired, and will serve through Sept. 2, 2029…
